Mild
Korma, Makhani, Butter — creamy, gentle, nut-rich.
Farsley · Leeds · Since the old church bell
Deeva means lamp. For years we've lit one inside a converted church on Town Street — high ceilings, long tables, and a kitchen that cooks Punjabi, Pakistani and North Indian food to order, mild to fiery.
The Room
Most curry houses are a room with a sign. Deeva is a landmark — a former stone church on Farsley's Town Street, now a dining hall seating eighty-six beneath the old high ceilings, with a lounge and bar upstairs and quiet corners for a family table.
It's the kind of place people drive across Leeds for: a first-date room, a birthday room, a Friday-after-work room. And it's the same kitchen whether you're at the table or ordering it home.

From the Specials Board
The dishes regulars order without looking. Cooked the way the chef's family cooks them — not toned down for a takeaway menu.
Tender lamb shank cooked over a slow heat, served off the bone in a rich sauce with fresh ginger.
Shelled king prawns with capsicum in our chef's own sauce, finished with a touch of chilli.
Chicken, lamb and king prawn together in the chef's special sauce — the dish the room is named for.
Cooked to order
Every traditional curry on our menu is built the way you want it — chicken, lamb, king prawn, paneer or vegetable, cooked to your heat. The same Rogan Josh can arrive gentle or ferocious. You decide.
Korma, Makhani, Butter — creamy, gentle, nut-rich.
Bhuna, Rogan Josh, Karahi — the everyday backbone.
Jalfrezi, Balti, Garlic Chilli — as hot as you dare.

Order direct
